Formed in April 2020 during the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Bus and Coach Research Group brings together like minds who are unable to travel but want to keep up to date with the latest goings on in the Bus and Coach industry
The group was formed by busspotter.co.uk to share information that would be of interest to those who turned to research during the lockdown, to keep their hobby alive.
Current projects being worked on are:
Vehicles - Leyland National, BMMO S21/S22, BMMO S23, BMMO D9, BMMO CM6/CM6T, Daimler Fleetline and Ford R192/1014
Operators - Midland Red, Stratford Blue, Thames Valley, City of Oxford, South Midland
All of these projects will include a written history, a history of all the vehicles including all historic and current owners/operators and for operators a history of the routes operated. As these will be ongoing projects, it is hoped that members of the group can add to these projects
